Reasons Why My Heart Sings- 24

Do you remember that song from our childhood that we sang in Sunday School?

It starts off… Deep and wide, deep and wide there is a fountain flowing deep and wide!

Have you missed out on this deep and wide fountain lately?

Has life felt long, dry, hard, twisted and winding lately?

Both love and joy are rich in nutrients unto the human soul!

Without them in adequate amounts in our lives we experience dehydration and undernourishment.

A long narrow winding canal, is what a river bed appears like when naked and stripped of its vital nourishment.

Can we still even call it a river bed, if its function has been forgotten?

Can existing ( the number of breaths taken) be called living?

Maybe, the riverbed has been dried up for so long that it is now being used for other functions.

Even creative functions may have emerged during this time of dormancy but a river-bed remains dry until it can perform its original intended function!

Many of us in the body of Christ are  experiencing dry and cracking places in our lives where hardly anything grows anymore!

Even when regenerated  spiritually by our confession of Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior we can remain vastly untapped and walk out our lives in an  UN regenerated state in our souls, minds and bodies!

The rich flowing waters of “THE GOSPEL” or Good News is fully capable of interweaving itself through each of us holistically.

And that’s my prophetic point today that I am bubbling over with thankfulness for….

Wholeness in Christ!

You see, when we go through the daily life motions  and we don’t experience GOD’s joy  we are not walking out the fullness of HIS greatness! In this case our steps feel disintegrated and we miss out on sharing the beautiful dance with HIM through this life, while dropping bread crumbs for others to follow so they too can met the Master!

His signature those things which makes my Master so irresistible universally and the best thing since sliced bread are  HIS boundless  love and joy!

Jesus speaks love and joy in an effortless fashion through HIS unspoken body language. Have you allowed these attributes to embody you? I promise it will make witnessing super painless and ultra effective!!! You’ll see, the next time there is an opportunity to witness to others about Jesus ( show them these two pieces of polished fruit of HIS Spirit) operating in your lives and watch them salivate for more of HIM!!!

I’ve danced and dinned in the presence of the Divine today!

Have you?

Reasons Why My Heart Sings 18

What creates a lop-sided Gospel?

Trying to dot all of my I’s and cross each of my T’s but failing to walk in love.

Self-loathing is not spiritual and does not create super-saints nor does it produce points for us in the here-after!

In order to walk in love we must first accept Gods love in the form of salvation and then allow the depths of this Agape love to flood our being ( body, mind, soul and spirit).

Once this occurs then we can love the UN- lovableness in ourselves and then as this love overflows our being we can extend it to others!

Because we learn to look past flaws and see the need that lies underneath.

I can not always love each personality ( some of us have personality traits that are not functioning from a healthy space) but I can love each soul and want what is best for them:-)

We must minister the gospel to a dying world from a place inside  of  our hearts where our ” cup is running over”!

Praising/worshiping God is my hearts desire but I cannot even praise and worship GOD without the ability to love otherwise I’m just making noise and moving around without purpose and power!

The enemy’s greatest point of contention?

Your praise!

Saints, did you not know that it is always your praise of  The Most High God” that the enemy wants to steal?

Our praise of GOD brings forth senseless envy from the enemy, pointed in our direction to hurt and further challenge GOD.

We can even go about the business of  ministry and church ( big or small) the enemy does not mind this as long as there is not genuine praise of GOD going forth.

When one ministry or church  competes with another and one child of God is jealous of and competes with another it only serves to tear down the office of ministering and works of GOD on this earthly plane.

How can a kingdom divided against its self stand?

The Holy Spirit in me would never attack the Holy Spirit operating in you or in another ministry!

When this is going on the Holy Spirit is not the driver but instead it is a demonic or familiar spirit.

In Lucifer’s ( aka ) Satan‘s fall from heaven in Is 14: 13-14 you will find the 5 ” I Wills” highlighted below.

13       You said in your heart,
      ‘I will ascend to heaven;
above the stars of God
I will set my throne on high;
I will sit on the mount of assembly
in the far reaches of the north;
14       I will ascend above the heights of the clouds;
I will make myself like the Most High.’

Friends, do you see a sick, twisted and dark pattern in those five I wills?

Satan (covets) wants to be or take the place and identity of The Most High God!

When we want what another has or to take their place we are operating from the principles of the kingdom of darkness and not in agreement with the Christ ( or Holy Spirit).

Let me say it again, “the enemy can’t stand your true praise and worship  of GOD!”

Just like when we are ensnared by envy we can’t stand to see or hear of another receiving attention and praise we feel we deserve!

Remember, we must worship God in the Holiness of HIS  Spirit and in Truth!

We cannot posses or own the Holy Spirit or His gifts but we must surrender in love to HIS Ways, Will and Teachings!

Lord, here is my incense of gratitude, praise and worship in written form as You know each and every moment I have breathed Your name in love and adoration this past week:-)

168. Lord, I am thankful because your Holy Spirit lives within me and I can praise you from the depths of my soul!

169. I am thankful for when the enemy comes in like a flood YOU oh Lord raise up a standard!

170. I am thankful that I am YOURS and YOURS alone oh Lord!

171.  I am thankful that only YOU can tell me who I am and this flows from who’s I am.

172.  Thank you for teaching me that it is most important how we play the game. A superficial win at the cost of Your glory and my soul is NOT winning at all!

173.  Heavenly Father I am thankful for the process of consecration unto YOU Glorious One!

174.  I am thankful for Your showing and modeling in me that to win I must decrease as You oh Divine One increase!

175.  I am thankful for the fact that Life,love, grace and mercy got up when You rose on that third day.

176. I am thankful for the ministry of The Holy Spirit and may I love the truth and the Gospel more than the sound of my voice!

177. I am thankful for learning that being right is my standing with you; nothing more and nothing less!

178. I am thankful that You have chosen to carve Your image and likeness within the person known as Jennifer Boddie and that You can do anything but fail!

I submit to YOUR Holy Work in my being, life and affairs. All of my business is YOUR business!!

The Holy Bible: English Standard Version. 2001 (Is 14:12–21). Wheaton: Standard Bible Society.
      “How you are fallen from heaven,
      O Day Star, son of Dawn!
                  How you are cut down to the ground,
      you who laid the nations low!
            13       You said in your heart,
      ‘I will ascend to heaven;
above the stars of God
I will set my throne on high;
I will sit on the mount of assembly
in the far reaches of the north;
14       I will ascend above the heights of the clouds;
I will make myself like the Most High.’
            15       But you are brought down to Sheol,
      to the far reaches of the pit.
            16       Those who see you will stare at you
      and ponder over you:
                  ‘Is this the man who made the earth tremble,
      who shook kingdoms,
            17       who made the world like a desert
      and overthrew its cities,
      who did not let his prisoners go home?’
            18       All the kings of the nations lie in glory,
      each in his own tomb;
            19       but you are cast out, away from your grave,
      like a loathed branch,
                  clothed with the slain, those pierced by the sword,
      who go down to the stones of the pit,
      like a dead body trampled underfoot.
            20       You will not be joined with them in burial,
      because you have destroyed your land,
      you have slain your people.

                  “May the offspring of evildoers
      nevermore be named!
            21       Prepare slaughter for his sons
      because of the guilt of their fathers,
                  lest they rise and possess the earth,
      and fill the face of the world with cities.”

The Word Became Flesh

We give thanks for our ability to come together today! Thank you for giving us the heart and mindsets to gather together in Your holy name and a want to have a closer walk with you and to “know” you in a biblical sense meaning to be at one with You. Help us to put first things first and by doing so all the rest will flow according to Your diving order. Father, we want to “first fruits” You with the first of our time daily. We pray that You will work your perfect work in us, until the Glory of your countenance radiates forth in our day to day living and the ordering of our very thoughts.  We Thank you in advance for what you are about to show and share with us in this lesson. Jesus, You are simply too “Good” to ever be forgotten!
Let every heart say…. Amen
John “The Apostle” states in his account of “The Gospel” simply refered to himself as “The disciple whom Jesus loved“. We’ll get back to this point at the end of our lesson!
Gospel is an Old English word that means “good news”. It translates the Greek word euangelion (eu, “good” and angelion, “message”), which also gives us words like “evangelist” and is related to words like “angel”.

The Word Became FleshJohn 1:1-18

In our introductory lesson on Wed we hit some important points in The Gospel of John 1: 1-2. Today, we will continue deeper into John 1:1-18 by pulling out a few key verses to focus on.
REMINDER: We are following the format from The Message // Remix Pause Daily Reading Bible but you will find many of my “study” references to include The New Living Translation or NLT . A comparative reading of scripture text provides the deepest level of understanding for any reader.
My two favorite bible translations are The Amplified Bible and The New Living Translation. Together they usually provide me with the necessary information that I need to let go and allow the Holy Spirit‘s deeper insights and revelations to speak to me, then through me. So, here just below you will read text from The Message, The NLT and The Amplified Bibles for this lesson.
John 1:2-5 (NLT)

2 He existed in the beginning with God.

3 God created everything through him,

John 1:2-5 Amplified Bible

2 He was present originally with God.

3 All things were made and came into existence through Him; and without Him was not even one thing made that has come into being.

4 In Him was Life, and the Life was the Light of men.

5 And the Light shines on in the darkness, for the darkness has never overpowered it [put it out or absorbed it or appropriated it, and is unreceptive to it].

John 1:2-5 (MSG)

2 in readiness for God from day one. 3 Everything was created through him; nothing—not one thing!— came into being without him. 4 What came into existence was Life, and the Life was Light to live by. 5 The Life-Light blazed out of the darkness; the darkness couldn’t put it out.

Takeaway Points:

  • The Word express and gives form to all manifested and created life! The Word is one of the names we call Jesus Christ. HE is that central focal point in which all that is spiritually alive needs to continue to grow and flourish.
  • Even when we do not recognize or we’re ignorant of the “Truth” or the “Light” or the “Life” we are still unable to snuff out it’s existence and ultimate worth. The root word in ignorant is to ignore.
  • Living under a self form of hypnosis and ignoring the “Truth” does not change reality but instead it places the one under such practices of hypnosis in a self-contained world inside one’s own head where we can be little gods and make up our own rules. This a form of  self-deception or”miscreation” and using gifts that God has given us out of His image and likeness to push HIM away instead of drawing nearer.  Just as Jesus The Word, draws His power from the father, we can do nothing that is alive outside of Christ!

    Becoming A Useful Vessel

    LUKE 9:24

    “Those who give up their lives for me will have true life.”

    You know, you have a beautiful future in GOD. HE has a dream and a plan for your life! Stay tuned for one very important step in becoming useful vessels for God’s purposes.

    When you’re full of yourself, God can’t fill you. But when you empty yourself, God has a useful vessel. Your Bible overflows with examples of those who did.

    In his Gospel, Matthew mentions his own name only twice. Both times he calls himself a tax collector! In his list of apostles, he assigns himself the eight spot.

    John also does not mention his own name in his Gospel. The twenty appearances of “John” all refer to “The Baptist”. John the apostle simply calls himself “the other follower” or the follower whom Jesus loved” (John 20:2-3).

    Luke wrote two of the most important books in the Bible but never once penned his own name.

    My personal thoughts and notes:

    What a paradox we walk as Christian’s? In order to be raised up or promoted in God’s Kingdom we must first serve and lower ourselves. In order that we may live in the Spirit of GOD, we must die to the flesh daily to find our (true) selves and we must lose or abandon our identity to the one that provided the ran some for our sin sick souls (Christ).

    It is not I who lives but it is Christ who lives in me. I am to be His “body” as HE provides HIS Spirit for me. Breaking my “willful “and “self glorifying” spirit are necessary components for my becoming a useful vessel “dedicated” for my Lord’s holy purposes!

    The Treasure Chest of Wisdom:

    Don’t go where the path of least resistance may lead, instead allow GOD to make a path for you (his vessel) to follow. God has designed a detailed and specific path that will lead you right to your destiny. It takes an excessive amount of energy and wasted effort trying to be someone other than who you were created to be. You are a child of the only true living GOD, wonderfully and fearfully created!

    The language of Communion with GOD…

    Avi (Father),

    y desire is to please You and hold nothing back. I surrender my relationships, my finances, my work, my recreation, my decisions, my time, my body, my mind, my soul, my desires, and my dreams. I put them all in your hands to be used to Your glory. I declare this day that I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh( body) I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. Rule me in every area of this life, LORD, and lead me into all that You have envisioned for me.

    In the name above all names (Jesus) we pray…

    Freedom to be creative under the protection of divinely appointed authority

    2 Corinthians 10:5 NLT

    We destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ.
