2 Corinthians 5:13-14 (NLT) ¹³ If it seems we are crazy, it is to bring glory to God. And if we are in our right minds, it is for your benefit. ¹⁴ Either way, Christ’s love controls us. Since we believe that Christ died for all, we also believe that we have all died to our old life.

Jesus Christ ( the anointed one) I envision in my heart that Whitney is singing the bridge to the song “I’ll Always Love You” in YOUR name; and for that beautiful vision I am thankful!!

JESUS, we’ll always love YOU!

May your daughter Whitney Elizabeth Houston now bask in the fullness of Your LOVE and JOY for an eternity!

LORD, I am eternally grateful and thankful that YOU love me and that your love is oh so real and concrete (in the person of Jesus Christ) to my body, mind, soul and spirit! Oh LORD, how we all need YOU ( not extreme wealth and fame but endow me (us) with the talent to obey YOU cheerfully)! And, shower us in YOUR LOVE, GRACE, and MERCY! 

Pray with me, will you?

May my ( mind., body soul or spirit  never- ever be smitten/ enamored by or eclipsed by any idolatrous drives or mask from within or without but may the true image and likeness of Jesus Christ thrive vibrantly lighting-up both my inner and outer world!  In the name of Jesus I pray, Amen!

Beloved sister Whitney…thanks for the beautiful legacy of music you have left for our pleasure:-)

It is by HIS amazing grace (through the gifting of Jesus Christ) that any  enter into the Kingdom of Heaven!

Nothing else makes us good enough!!!!

We as your body of believers want to honor thy unfathomable  sacrifice Jesus, to redeem us!!!

Just to try to sum it all up, my heart is singing oh, Holy One at this very moment for thy complete faithfulness!!!!!

I can count on YOU and who You are even when nothing else makes sense in life because JESUS YOU are TRUTH:-)

From a human perspective love feels right/ means being comforted and being understood emotionally.

God’s version of love requires us to put on the Whole Armor so that we can stand!

God takes into consideration our need to be comforted, understood, to have real and lasting stability, for unconditional love and opportunities to grow!

God does not waste one single moment of our life experiences. They all can be turned into divine teaching sessions!

God does not want you and I to bow to  fear AKA ( false evidence appearing real) .

In prayer we often ask God to divert our fears or we ask HIM to direct us around our fears.

Danger and fears are not always perceived as the same, by GOD.

What God  often does instead is to walk with us through our fears in very creative ways and HE provides us with the tools to over come them and place the enemy under our feet!

Good earthly fathers have many of these same qualities of helping their children do things that they did not think they were capable of achieving!

God’s way of nurturing is also to give us a deep sense of our real identity and sense of worth.

When we know our value and worth to HIM, then we can love ourselves although we are perfectly imperfect!

My heart sings HIS praises at this moment because…

205. I do not have to be perfect God’s strength is made perfect in my weaknesses! Through my cracks and breaks HIS glory can be seen by others that much more:-)

206.  I am so thankful for the fact that I continue to bear fruit in HIM.

207.  I don’t even mind and am thankful for the pruning that must take place constantly in my life so that I can continue to bear fruit into my old age!

208.  I am thankful being delivered from being B.U.S.Y (being under Satan yoke). God desires instead for me to BE more in HIM  not do more in an already impossible schedule.

209.  I am thankful for the God opening the eyes of my heart to see how perfectly HE has molded and made me to fulfill the unique calling that HE has placed on my life.

210. Thank you GOD for making me totally unique and irreplaceable no-one else can ‘snatch my value”  or take my place in your heart nor walk the path and reach souls exactly as You have crafted me to show YOU to this dying world.

211. Thank you, Heavenly Father for rescuing me from no-mans-land of self-service!

212. Thank you for the special gift promised to each of us that reads the book of revelation. Each time I have read it ( twice now) I have consciously been aware of being blessed but at this time I want to really focus in and thank you for the blessings that I have given that I have yet to perceive!

213.  Thank you, beloved Father for being the sweetener in my life that otherwise would be quite sour!

214. Lord, you’re so good and I am so thankful for YOUR heart, virtues and aspects of your character in each person, or situation you have ever provided to bless me  in this life! You’re not invisible to my heart, soul and spirit! You are everywhere! Thank you for for giving me the means ( method) to see and be with YOU in this life ( and beyond).

When we love someone we pray for them, right?

I want to emphasize praying for and not against another child of God.

Being able to go before the Throne of GOD and offer prayers is one of the greatest gifts we’ve been offered as children in proper standing with The Most High God!

And this high privilege should never be abused to try to force your will over another or the Will of GOD.

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving enter into HIS  courts with praise!

Saints when we are angry with raw and unbridled emotion it is not the time to offer up prayers about the person we are angry with attempting to make ourselves feel more Godly ( acting as if we praying for our enemies).

In cases like this we wind up actually praying horribly against the person because our anger is in the drivers seat/ blinding us.

It would be better to ask GOD to help us with our anger and to understand what is fueling or motivating it.

Hypocrite first get the beam out of your own eye, then you can see your brother/sister more clearly!

No matter what we feel the other person has done to us, remember we are all sinners saved by the grace of GOD almighty!

So it is not up to us to try to speak our words over another life.

None of the other gifts given by the Holy Spirit or even the fruits of the Spirit work properly without Agape love.

For instance, acting with a lack of patience towards another child of God  can reveal a preoccupation with your needs over theirs but if the fruit of love is in operation in our lives then the fruit of God’s perfect love will gently correct your impatience.

Thus restoring the relational equilibrium.

Anger is a tricky emotion in that very often other issues, emotions, feelings and motivations hide behind it.

Pride ( thinking too highly of self) a need to be right commonly known as self righteousness, unresolved issues of self-worth that lend themselves strongly towards the expression of Jealousy, emotional issues those concerning abuse that involved shame and self loathing all can mask themselves behind a smoke screen of anger!

Can’t we all clearly see why our time spent before the throne would be best used in asking GOD to help us to unmask the real demons and culprits  behind why we are miserable and angry!

Lord, this week has been a hard one as far as lessons go. You have turned me inside-out and upside down/ showing me clearly what the enemy means to destroy me that You are bent on using every morsel for my good, benefit and ultimate growth.

I need to let you know that I know that I am your child and I am thankful and that I love you always especially so when I don’t get  what I want the way that I desire it.  I learn more about YOU and who I really am  in my trials than by serving a yes GOD.

You’re too good to pacify me!

I  accept that my full understanding of how You work is not necessary in order to offer you my full submission. I give that to you willingly because YOU are my GOD Jesus!!

Submission is not always filled with emotions of sublime pleasure sometimes it can be down right unsettling  to my emotions but YOU allow this to reinforce that I am not to  bow  to my emotions but to bow to and worship YOU only!

And there are even times that I am asked by YOU to let go of my place of being right for another child of God’s in need, but in cases as such I solely rely upon YOU for direction.

Your Spirit guides me not a list of rules!

I choose to stand with YOU Lord because YOU are the Truth and because I love you!

I am thankful for…

190. That you Lord do not abandon me in the thick of the fight!

191.  Thank you for teaching me that my faith in you is not blind or radical but that YOU Lord are all that I have to use in the pursuit of  seeing what is true, right and good.

192. Thank you for teaching me that carnal weapons never solve the problem.

193. Thank you for unmasking the real enemies and isolating the fight to the spiritual arena ( we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against powers, principalities, rulers of the darkness and wickedness in high place).

194.  Thank you for showing me that pride always kills but humility heals.

195. Thank you for the wisdom and love that you have placed  my elder brother in Christ Rev. William Boddie

196.  Thank you for preparing my heart and never allowing one in right standing with you to enter into any situation blindly.

197.  Thank you for second chances.

198. Thank you for the perfect work of  Agape Love.

199. And for its companion forgiveness.

200. Thank you for teaching me what prayer is and what it should never be used for.

201. Thank you for teaching me that there are no short-cuts in working with Your principles and precepts that each of us must pick up our cross and follow you daily.

202. Thank you Lord for emptying my heart of all the stuff that wants to crowd  You out and come between us.

203.  I am thankful for your seal of approval Lord that speaks life into my being!

204. Thank you for the reality that I am free in you Jesus.

Do you remember those school day, school days, dear old golden rule days?

Now that I am a student/ disciple of Jesus Christ I’m back in school!

Feeling like a child, in that everything I visit and learn being fresh and new.

Christ has restored my capacity for pure wonder!!

Secretly I think HE kind of enjoys my awkwardness and utter dependence upon HIM ( wink)!

HE likes to use show and tell techniques in the teaching model HE employes with me.

AND.. I often feel a little like Alice In Wonderland falling down the rabbit hole ( wee)

Or even like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz, watching Kansas go bye bye:-)

See, when we take trips like these, my only anchor is my relationship with The Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Wanna make HIM smile, trust Him! As it really speaks deeply to HIS God-hood!

If you want to walk in The Spirit with GOD, then your going to have to turn in your perceptions for HIS.

You’re game I know and it all sounds simple enough, right?

But, seeing and looking at life through someone else eyes means letting go of your own sense of  reality…what is concrete, unchangeable and immutable.

Not so easy, right?

But, your life will be changed forever in the most profound easy and you’ll be ruined for walking through this life without the sacred peeking out from behind every experience:-)

This week beloved Father I want to make mention of  some of the things I am especially thankful for.

179. I am thankful for the fact that YOU are the most awesome teacher ( knowing what it means to administer a lesson holistically).

180.  After said lesson, thanks for dropping me back off  safely in Kansas!

181. Thank you for helping me to understand the deeper reasons behind the three-letter word… why

182. Thank you for revealing your self as the reason behind all other reasons.

183. Thank you for showing me that the only cure for idolatry is a life spent in constant worship of YOU!

184.  Thank you for controlling my thoughts so that they do not control me.

185. Thank you for the richness and depth of experiences that you give me to further show more aspects of Your glory:-)

186. Thank you for being The only one true GOD and the head of my life.

187.  Thank you for being my best friend ( sorry it took me so long to see this fact)!

188. Thank you for meeting me at the Cross and teaching me that YOU are bigger than all my problems and directing my thoughts back to YOU.

189. I crown you as King and ruler of my heart ( thank YOU Jesus for residing there)!

The diet ( or lifestyle) that I followed in my twenties and even thirties somewhere along the lines stopped working for me.

When , where and how did that all happen?

My needs  changed/ mutated as I have matured and aged.

I have always been a flexible person.

And I define being flexible as…

Having the ability to realize and accept once something or someone in my life begins speaking the prophetic message… ‘move on’ it’s time to redefine yourself.

I confess,  that I have spent so much of my life starting over from the way I think to the way that I eat.

So much of my life has been spent in transformation that I feel as if  I have majored in “  How To Rise From The Ashes“!

But, this frustrating and sometimes painful reality of never-ending change and renewal  has produced one decisive strength and advantage.

My faith in the one who never changes  Jesus Christ!

HE’s the secret weapon that you never what to be without in the mist of a battle Especially the most important battle of all the one fought for your very soul identity!

Jesus being my anchor is the one and only fact that qualifies me to speak and model truth!

HE has been my anchor in an ever-changing inner terrain and in an outer world that has known very little order!

When I look at my life today, the landscape looks nothing like it did 10 or even 5 years ago.

I no longer recognize myself  by my familiar thoughts, habits, friends, physical form or even by the possessions under my stewardship but I do recognize my true identity… the image and likeness of Christ!

Trying to dot all of my I’s and cross each of my T’s but failing to walk in love.

Self-loathing is not spiritual and does not create super-saints nor does it produce points for us in the here-after!

In order to walk in love we must first accept Gods love in the form of salvation and then allow the depths of this Agape love to flood our being ( body, mind, soul and spirit).

Once this occurs then we can love the UN- lovableness in ourselves and then as this love overflows our being we can extend it to others!

How?

Because we learn to look past flaws and see the need that lies underneath.

I can not always love each personality ( some of us have personality traits that are not functioning from a healthy space) but I can love each soul and want what is best for them:-)

We must minister the gospel to a dying world from a place inside  of  our hearts where our ” cup is running over”!

Praising/worshiping God is my hearts desire but I cannot even praise and worship GOD without the ability to love otherwise I’m just making noise and moving around without purpose and power!

The enemy’s greatest point of contention?

Your praise!

Saints, did you not know that it is always your praise of  The Most High God” that the enemy wants to steal?

Our praise of GOD brings forth senseless envy from the enemy, pointed in our direction to hurt and further challenge GOD.

We can even go about the business of  ministry and church ( big or small) the enemy does not mind this as long as there is not genuine praise of GOD going forth.

When one ministry or church  competes with another and one child of God is jealous of and competes with another it only serves to tear down the office of ministering and works of GOD on this earthly plane.

How can a kingdom divided against its self stand?

The Holy Spirit in me would never attack the Holy Spirit operating in you or in another ministry!

When this is going on the Holy Spirit is not the driver but instead it is a demonic or familiar spirit.

In Lucifer’s ( aka ) Satan‘s fall from heaven in Is 14: 13-14 you will find the 5 ” I Wills” highlighted below.

13       You said in your heart,
      ‘I will ascend to heaven;
above the stars of God
I will set my throne on high;
I will sit on the mount of assembly
in the far reaches of the north;
14       I will ascend above the heights of the clouds;
I will make myself like the Most High.’

Friends, do you see a sick, twisted and dark pattern in those five I wills?

Satan (covets) wants to be or take the place and identity of The Most High God!

When we want what another has or to take their place we are operating from the principles of the kingdom of darkness and not in agreement with the Christ ( or Holy Spirit).

Let me say it again, “the enemy can’t stand your true praise and worship  of GOD!”

Just like when we are ensnared by envy we can’t stand to see or hear of another receiving attention and praise we feel we deserve!

Remember, we must worship God in the Holiness of HIS  Spirit and in Truth!

We cannot posses or own the Holy Spirit or His gifts but we must surrender in love to HIS Ways, Will and Teachings!

Lord, here is my incense of gratitude, praise and worship in written form as You know each and every moment I have breathed Your name in love and adoration this past week:-)

168. Lord, I am thankful because your Holy Spirit lives within me and I can praise you from the depths of my soul!

169. I am thankful for when the enemy comes in like a flood YOU oh Lord raise up a standard!

170. I am thankful that I am YOURS and YOURS alone oh Lord!

171.  I am thankful that only YOU can tell me who I am and this flows from who’s I am.

172.  Thank you for teaching me that it is most important how we play the game. A superficial win at the cost of Your glory and my soul is NOT winning at all!

173.  Heavenly Father I am thankful for the process of consecration unto YOU Glorious One!

174.  I am thankful for Your showing and modeling in me that to win I must decrease as You oh Divine One increase!

175.  I am thankful for the fact that Life,love, grace and mercy got up when You rose on that third day.

176. I am thankful for the ministry of The Holy Spirit and may I love the truth and the Gospel more than the sound of my voice!

177. I am thankful for learning that being right is my standing with you; nothing more and nothing less!

178. I am thankful that You have chosen to carve Your image and likeness within the person known as Jennifer Boddie and that You can do anything but fail!

I submit to YOUR Holy Work in my being, life and affairs. All of my business is YOUR business!!

No More Regrets…

Saying farewell to the spirit of Heaviness and Hello to Joy!

Don’t you and I want to enter into a New Year and find a New Us?

A successful new beginning has its genesis in making over our thoughts thus resulting in an extreme spiritual make-over!  Not just in making a list things we want to become.

That’s how to keep a New Year’s resolution!

Are you making plans/ resolutions for 2012 and dragging along baggage from 2011?

I hope not but if so I sincerely want to help by passing on what I have learned.

Regret is not a romantic longing over past events is an unclean spirit that often manifest itself with a blending in varying degrees of the inner states of being below.

1. Grief
2. Despair
3. Hopelessness
4. Depression
5. Rejection

We often do not give ourselves permission and the time necessary to properly and respectfully; mourn the loss of people, relationships, situations and things that were important to us.

Regret is often an accumulation of UN-dealt with feelings of failure or negatively internalizing life lessons and other people’s emotional baggage from past relationships.

We cannot move on fully embracing life and all that God has to offer us until we evaluate, learn from, then let go of our negative emotional evaluations (judgment) of ourselves and others.

Healthy evaluation means to look at events, people, places and things through Gods eyes and through The Gospel

God’s perspective and HIS Word take us out of the realm of our negative, repetitive thoughts/ feelings and give us a fresh and life giving perspective on an old problem.

We often learn how to respond to ‘life saying no’ by watching how our parents coped with disappointments.

Were your parents generous in spirit towards themselves?

By not beating themselves over the head and rehashing things over and over again?

If so, they would clearly have able to model separating themselves and their self-worth from their experiences in life.

Or, perhaps they went to the other extreme (as many of us do) and could not accept any personal responsibility when things we wrong and fell into playing the blame game.

One of the most constructive things that can be done in letting go of regret and supporting the ‘moving on process’ is to put to rest the spirit of perfectionism. Once we are delivered from this lying spirit then inner peace can come and begin to find a roosting place in our hearts and minds.

See, we have no righteousness of our own. So once we are delivered from the Religious and Lying Spirit that brings forth striving for ‘perfection’ then we can let go and accept God’s grace and mercy and the maturing process in Christ Jesus can take root in our souls!

When we have done our best (for our current level of maturity) and given our all (done everything as if we were doing it unto the Lord) what do we have to regret?

Perfectionism cancels out the generous covering of mercy and rejects God beautiful grace.

After all, it is only a sinner that recognizes that he or she needs God’s gifts of grace and mercy.

We all have lessons to learn and our sanctification (perfecting/ maturing)  process in the Lord is ongoing on this side of life!

In Christ, we learn to apply all learned in previous times to similar experiences that come around in present and the future life-events.

Upon doing so, then, we can see how much we have grown and learned and that our trials were there for the purpose of refining us and moving us closer to  the image and likeness of Jesus Christ.

God keeps His promises.

HE takes what the enemy meant for bad and turns it into a spring-board for our greatest  good!

Power Verse :Romans 12:2 (NLT) Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

My relationship with Christ is like a mufti-faceted crystal.

HE is my Lord.

HE is my Savior.

164.  I am thankful for knowing and accepting that my journey with GOD was never meant to be on a crowded HWY!

165.  I am thankful for the fact that GOD has allowed me to know and experience HIS beauty, glory and wonder!!!

166. I am thankful learning not to’ judge’ even when hurt. Instead I evaluate people, places and circumstances. I can check, look at data and draw conclusions about the effectiveness or none effectiveness of people, place and circumstance in my life, then pray to GOD for further guidance on how to best go ahead.

167. I am thankful knowing that speaking the truth in difficult situations is NOT the same as evil speaking. The truth is often a hard pill to swallow even under the best of circumstances!

Beloved Father!

There is nothing in this universe as glorious and awesome as Your very Being! I long for Your presence in my world above all else!! You are goodness, perfection, beauty and food for my very soul. May You grow and magnify Your greatness in my heart, mind, body, spirit and world daily until You have Your being within me to YOUR full satisfaction and to Your greatest glory.

Who Am I, that You’re mindful of me? That You hear me, when I call upon Your Holy name?

You blow my mind and delight my heart!!

This is not my ministry but it is a place and a space for me to show case YOU more clearly and fully to a dying world that needs the gifts of Your being.

Reveal Yourself as The One And Only GOD…

GOD The Father, GOD The Son and Holy Spirit.

I adore and Worship YOU in all of Your functions, LORD!

168. I am most thankful for the fact that “I am A Friend of GOD!”

When I say …”I am a Christian,”
I’m not shouting “I am saved”
I’m whispering “I was lost!”
That is why I chose this way.”

When I say…”I am a Christian,”
I do not wish to judge.
I have no authority I only know I’m loved.

I was kind of into the study of thought and believed I could carry out great things if I learned how to use more of my mind-power.

Knowledge is not power but dark and destructive when it is not under the unction of  The Holy Spirit.

Now, I constantly shake my head wondering how I would make it through the day “intelligently” without God’s advice and direction!

It just that for my every seemingly reasonable, sound thought, His thoughts are light years beyond my current level of thinking.

If I were being prideful, I would actually feel quite dense.

But, these facts only brings into clearer focus that HE is GOD and deserving of all my praise and worship!!!

Without Him my psyche would perpetually be stuck in  three-dimensional perceptions.

My reasons for a heart that sings this week are…

144. Knowing when to walk away from a situation ( in love ) and turn it over to GOD.

145. New insights that lead to deeper maturity in Christ.

146. Being given the yard-stick for measuring a good day, in the Lord.

147. When we plant good seeds we can smile in anticipation of our tomorrow!
